We accept online payment in a secure environment with Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit and American Express. Currently we do not accept payment via PayPal.
Our online store uses the very latest encryption technology (SSL) to ensure that your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel across the internet. When you proceed to make your purchase, your browser makes a connection to the secure section of our website. Your browser will show a padlock in the bottom right corner to indicate that it has made a secure connection and depending on your browser a window may pop-up to notify you that you are entering this safe area.
Once you have confirmed your order, payment will only be taken from your bank account once your purchased items have been despatched. This applies for pre-ordered purchases too. You will receive a despatch confirmation email when the items are with the courier. Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment method to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Goods will not be dispatched until this pre-authorisation check has been completed.
To protect cardholders, your bank may request that you are screened using 3D Secure (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa) and by an independent fraud prevention service. We may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary.
We use a process known as "tokenisation" when we take payments. In short, this means that the credit card details you enter are securely transmitted straight to our payment provider and we never see or store them in full. Instead, we receive a "token" consisting of your card number with half the digits randomised, along with less critical data such as the card type. We are then able to use this token to charge and refund your card via our payment processor, whilst still being able to show you meaningful information to identify which card you used.
This means that in the unfortunate event of our systems being breached, not only would the attacker fail to retrieve any meaningful credit card data, all tokens would be immediately revoked and become unusable, meaning your card cannot be misused.
We use Sage Pay to collect and process transaction information. You will be redirected to the Sage Pay website when you place an order on our website.Sage Pay uses best in class security features. Further details are available here:www.sagepay.co.uk/policies/security-policy
